MFC & MDF is used throughout the shopfitting industry as it is readily available in a wide range of timber effects.  Timber edging is finished in either heat bonded high impact edging or high impact T-Bar edging.  

All our glass display counters are made with 6mm toughened glass.  Beware of lower quality products on the market using 5mm glass.

All of our fully assembled products are built to order to your specified size, timber finish and edging colour.  We can therefore add other options such as lighting, locks or anything else you may require.  

Whilst browsing through our website, if you dont see the product, timber finish or the exact dimensions you require, pleasecontact us as we are able to make bespoke furniture to you exact specifications.

*18mm board is a minimum specification for surface finish.  In some instances we may use up to 25mm for certain finishes for aesthetic reasons. Carcass construction may include timbers of a lower dimension, this is for technical reasons and are not detromental to the quality of our product.

Our self assembly products are manufacturered in the same way as our fully built units but you save by building it yourself.  All self assembly products are supplied with a comprehensive instruction manual.

Checkout Counters.
Checkout counters manufactured by Direct Shopfittings are attractive, durable and functional units for both customer and operator. Complete with basket wells for customer comfort, these units have rear storage and cash registers can be situated either on right hand side or left hand side for operator use. 

Glass Display Counters
Display counters are the ideal way to display your special or high value items such as collectables, jewellery, fireworks and many other uses. 3/4 glass, 1/2 glass or full glass available with optional doors and locks to rear of counter to increase security around your point of sale.  All glass units are manufactured with 6mm toughend glass for safety.

Convenience Counters
Epos counters will enhance any shop, ideally suited to grocery store and are commonly used in local convenience stores.  Available with or without basket wells which create an excellent impulse buy display. Units come with rear storage.

Impulse Display Counters
Impulse counters are very versatile display units. These units can be used for a variety of products for impulse buying such as small hardware products, sweets and confectionary, newspaper, crisps and savoury goods to pharmaceutical goods, the choice is endless.

Cash & Wrap / Sales Counters
Cash & Wrap / Sales counters are durable, practical and attractive. Ample room for cash registers, and in larger sizes provide a functional worktop to wrap customers merchandise.  Plenty of space at the rear for storage of carrier bags, till rolls, pricing gun etc.  These are the most functional counters where worktop space in conjunction with storage space is a necessity.

Slatwall Gondola Displays
Freestanding Slatwall displays are attractive units and are ideal for pre-packed goods for use with slatwall hooks and accessories such as Acrylic shelves which come in a variety of sizes for those bulky items. Ideally suited, where it is impossible to construction a slatwall panel display, such as a central island in a store, store window display etc.

Till Stands
Sturdy practical no nonsense till stands which will accommodate most cash registers and suit any retail environment. Complete with storage to the rear and finished in durable materials with high impact edging.

The BJ82 bank note counter and counterfeit detector is available at an affordable price. The BJ82 note detector from Directshopfittings, is reliable, accurate and counts you bank notes at high speed whilst giving you that extra security of counterfeit detection.
