Sense & Sanitise – Plug and Play Temperature Screening and Sanitiser Station
The Sense & Sanitise Station is a plug and play temperature screening and sanitiser dispensing system that has been developed in response to the current crisis.
It is a two hand sanitiser unit with a calibrated infra red temperature monitoring sensor. The sensor monitors the persons forehead temperature, dispenses sanitiser and then displays a customisable enter/no entry read out based on the persons temperature.
This system allows you to minimise risk by ensuring that everyone has hand sanitiser on both hands and has been temperature screened before entry. The system can be used in three ways;
- As a stand-alone unit by the entrance doors, which people are requested to use before entering.
- Linked to a physical gate or door, which only opens once sanitiser has been applied and the temperature reading is ok.
- Linked to a sensor system that sounds a warning tone if someone passes without using the unit or tries to pass after receiving a No Entry reading.

The system has been designed to be used as a stand-alone unit by the entrance doors which people are requested to use before entering the premises. It has an integral programmable controller which can be linked to a physical gate, or door that only opens once sanitiser has been applied and the temperature reading is ok. Alternatively it can be linked to a sensor system that sounds a warning tone if someone passes without using the unit or tries to pass after receiving a ‘no entry’ reading.
This system ensures that everyone that enters the premises has sanitised hands and has been temperature screened; helping to minimise risk within your premises.

How To Use The Sense & Sanitise Station
General Public/Staff Users
- The welcome screen will show a message asking the user to place their hands under the nozzles.

- The sensors will then automatically sense the users hands and start dispensing sanitiser onto both hands and checking their temperature. The screen will show a message asking the user to wait whilst this is in progress.

Admin Users
Sanitiser is loaded via the entry door which is secured with a key lock. It is very quick and simple to refill the machine; remove the lid from a 5 litre sanitiser bottle and insert the tube, then slide the bottle into unit.

Temperature trigger points for entry/no entry read outs can also be set by admin users.
Sense & Sanitise Product Range
There are two mounting options available for the Sense & Sanitise unit. A wall mounted system and a post mounted system.
The wall mounted system is mounted via a bracket on the base of the unit which is screwed to the wall. The post mounted system can be supplied either on a self-supporting stand, or a stand which can be bolted to the floor.

Customised Screen Messages and Instructions
Screen messages and instructions can be customised to show your company logo and to suit your requirements.
Temperature Monitoring
Each device is temperature calibrated. The system has been designed to measure forehead temperature, which is not as accurate as measuring internal body temperature and is not a definitive test method for Covid-19 or febrille illness. This system is not a medical device and should not be used as a medical device.
Sanitiser refills
The system simply has a space in the cabinet for a 5 litre sanitiser bottle and a tube that sits into the bottle which is linked to the pump dispensing system. It is specifically designed for the gel we supply, but it will dispense almost any gel or liquid sanitiser, only it will not atomise liquid sanitiser. We can supply sanitiser, or you can source your own.
Sanitiser dispensing
On standard settings you will get approximately 5000 x 1ml doses per 5 litre bottle, but we can adjust this to suit your requirements.
Construction
The main cabinet construction is 316 stainless steel.
Power supply
The unit is powered by a standard UK mains power lead.
Maintenance Requirements
Wipe down as necessary. The device does not require regular calibration or maintenance, but this service can be offered if your health and safety procedures require it.
